These are the traits that a strong brand has (by my definition):
- Being recognizable
- Memorable logo
- Industry awareness
Being Recognizable
Recognizing someone/something is a form of branding. At least a characteristic. This makes us feel comfortable to an extent. They say familiarity breeds contempt, but if we see it as synonymous with recognizance, it becomes a win.
Having a Memorable Logo
Logos were my first introduction to business loyalty. I’m not too sure if that’s 100% accurate, but it seems likely. They stand out and are the welcome committee that’s noticed before any business is conducted yet. Let’s be clear, you could have a solid product/service but won’t get much business without having a logo.
Industry Awareness
If the industry is aware that you exist, that’s strong branding to me. You’re not noticed if the brand you built isn’t where it’s supposed to be yet.
