What makes advice feel practical instead of theoretical?

Let’s discuss what makes advice feel practical instead of simply theoretical.

What makes advice feel practical instead of theoretical

Advice feels more practical instead of theoretical when it’s actionable. It has to be context-dependent most of the time. And it wouldn’t hurt to have it come from a place that’s supported with truthful stories, A.K.A. direct experience.

Can you take action?

Having advice that leads to taking actionable steps is a practical method instead of a theoretical one. It’s practical once you’re sure that you can actually practice and perform the action in repetition.

I typically put this information in more of a focused group. My audience targeting skills still need some work, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that I’m aware of this being the point of emphasis for most when they choose to join private groups.

An example for what this would realistically like something would be where a teacher could (in theory) explain how to create a watch.

They would give you specific steps on its assembly.

So that would include explaining where the minutes and hands would be placed, how many links would go on to each standard watch that you assemble.

Things along those lines.

Having Context-Dependency

Advice also feels more practical instead of theoretical when it’s reliant on prior information.

As we should know in this content creation era in where we develop genuine interest for media personalities and grow to judge most of the people we choose to follow, context matters.

Direct Experience: When it comes from the heart

Experience is the mother of all teachers. That’s not a well known saying or anything, but it’s a claim I wouldn’t put past anybody you deem as wise. It’s easily considered practical when you’re going off information that’s inspired from this space because the person sharing has all of the support from stories that could be shared to help remove any possible confusions that would be had while trying to understand the message.
