The Difference Between Ambition and Drive

For me to properly define ambition takes me applying it to my life and that’s having a personal goal you don’t get tired of. Drive is the battery and breaks whatever barriers that hold you back from reaching your goals.

My definition of Ambition (expanded opinion)

Ambition to me is the personalized vision that takes you further than where you’re at currently.

You’ll get to the point where unexpected people go against you because of your decision to follow through with your mind.

I’m specific in what part of your body it comes from since most will tell you it’s your gut but that’s temporary in comparison.

When you’re ambitious about something it’s constantly on your radar.

There’s not much else that could take priority over what sparks your ambition.

My most ambitious moments happen when respect is not felt and I feel someone’s negatively playing with my patience.

The Definition of Drive to Me

Drive is an interesting concept in being a factor to help you move forward towards the finish line.

It could come from many different sources – mine lately would’ve been from disappointment

There’s always someone to blame if things aren’t happening immediately but that doesn’t mean progress isn’t being made.

Documenting these moments are important but even better is converting them into creative pieces to help the next person.

Even finding an entertaining escape could be the difference maker in not going crazy but it all ends up being fuel to keep going.

This mindset isn’t made for the weak either.
