Why are some people trying to be the leader of their friend groups? (Explained)

I’ll be explaining why some people are trying to be the leader of their friend group.

I was that guy numerous times and didn’t even realize that it led to half of the envy I’d face from peers growing up.

It’s not a bad thing to strive to be but it is worth noting that it could bring on problems later on in life.

Why are some people trying to be the leader of their friend groups?

People are striving to be the leader of their friend group because it’s important to the ecosphere of friendship.

There’s perks that come with being a leader.

I saw myself as one.

It only comes from having followers respect your abilities and believe you can lead them.

You inadvertently become the face of a program that’s dedicated to fun.

It might even get portrayed as nerd culture.

But every good leader makes their followers feel like they belong.
