Why is there always music playing in my head?

Music is something that continues to play in my head for a few different reasons I believe. It could be possible that I’m getting better at my craft and it fills moments of silence as a protective measure. It’s become a new habit of mine that I think is getting stronger from brainwashing through reputation.

Sometimes it’s my own music or the sounds of other artists that resonate with me in some way.
