Why my social media is for business (my PREFERRED method REVEALED)

How do you use social media?

I’m making a commitment to use my social media strictly for business. It’ll be an opportunity to expand my income. It’s turning into my news at times too with how instant information is becoming. I’ve never really taken a page seriously in that way but definitely would focus my time and efforts on monetizing an account.

What is the best way to use social media for small business?

The best way to use social media for small business is by following these steps:

  • Create a social media plan
  • Speak to your target audience
  • Focus on building relationships
  • Produce quality content

The social media plan is universal in theory.

There’s plenty of guides that you could follow but the important thing is committing to a single plan.

The goal of using it is for effective advertisement.

The industry that you’re marketing to matters more than the content itself sometimes.

These are things you’ll be more aware of as you get more active in your business’s community.

One tool that’s been serving pretty well is Canva.

They have tons of templates that you can use towards an original design for your preferred platform. If you need a logo or even video they’ll have you covered for most projects you’ll ever do.

A few of the most popular are:

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • X (formerly known as Twitter)
  • YouTube

A good ad goes noticed when shown properly.

The average consumer is tired of the same ads without any originality.

If you’re choosing to sell any products then considering more focus on customer reviews might pay off really well.

Preferably a Google review since it’s the #1 search engine in the world.

There’s a portion of your time that’ll be spent capturing your product and the rest is posting them on their platforms.

It comes down to understanding where your audience hangs out in.

If you’re above that and are ready to outsource that type of work then it might even be best to consider adding a social media manager.
