There’s 10 steps to this process and they go:

  • Find the financial benefits of having one
  • Choose the app type
  • Find your target audience
  • Decide on your revenue model
  • Come up with a USP and strategy
  • Choose basic and advanced features
  • Find the best development option
  • Choose technology stack
  • Start the development process
  • Start app promotion
  • Measure and analyze results
  • Plan further development and support

What is the easiest social media app to make money on?

TikTok.

If they had to be ranked from top 5 with TikTok being number 1 then the rest would go in this order:

  • Instagram
  • YouTube
  • X (formerly Twitter)
  • Facebook

It’s getting more and more popular to use AI in order to make social media accounts money making machines.

Although TikTok’s the easiest (to make money on) the most revenue seems to be made on Facebook and Instagram.

However, with that point, that doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll make the most money on either platforms.

There’s specific methods that compliment the use of those platforms (FB & IG) better but it’s typically through investments.

Generally speaking it’s ad placements and other paid marketing methods.

The research just backs up the claim that TikTok works best for most content creators.

I personally prefer Instagram over this platform but even creators (28.6%) that make less than $10,000 credit TikTok as being the main contributor for that income.

And as far as payments for views go TikTok estimates that creators earn over 2-4 cents per thousand views with their creator fund program.

That might not sound like much at first view but when you take in to account how easy it is to get views that adds up nicely.

How do I sell an app idea?

There’s seven steps that’s universally agreed to going about selling an app idea:

  • Be natural
  • Be short
  • Don’t add too many technical terms
  • Get the complicated steps out the way first
  • Be exhausting in your approach
  • Back up what you say with facts
  • Ideally have a prototype to show

These are generally what you would wanna do for any type of pitch you would make for a decent idea.

It might be easier to think of it all as an elevator pitch with your best points included in your first exposure.

Because the mobile app industry is riding to levels as high as $233 billion as soon as 2026 it’ll prove to serve you best with having some method of communication that you’re good at.

There’s basics that’ll continue to set yourself up for success best when deciding to develop your own app:

FIND A PROBLEM AND CREATE THE SOLUTION

The best thing you could do is truly believe in the cause you’re working for.

Not only that but be able to show how it’s a win-win situation for the team that can make your idea come to life.

How much is an app idea worth?

It’s totally dependent on the quality of your idea.

The right concept can see returns up to millions depending on the opportunity of growth, demand and ability to deliver.

The biggest concept that’s seeing the best results is the ability to connect with others.

Social media is one of the biggest methods of communication for online enthusiasts.

Instantaneous connections can be attractive to anyone globally because networking is the hot button for any marketer.

With that point made, it’s also important to note that the idea alone isn’t enough, the money’s made through the research and technology used to back everything up.

Having differentials is what’s going to make your app stand out from the rest.

Some of the best programs come from serving a specific audience first and then expanding.

There’s also having features that none of the competitors have too!

You’ll be knowledgeable in this area by starting to get familiar with competing apps and see what makes them so successful.

What happens if you delete the Instagram app?

It’s off your phone, but your account could still be remaining active.

This applies to any other social media app that’s on your phone and that’s because it could still be accessed on a web browser.

At best it’s only gonna free up an iota of data on your device.

The real question might be ‘why would you wanna delete Instagram’ especially since it’s one of the top picture based apps you can find on the internet.

But to each their own I guess…

Also, keep in mind that if you’re an avid creator that uses the app for automation with the content created then your drafts WILL be lost.

And possibly the most peaceful fact is stopping the numerous notifications you probably get from having such an engaging account.

How great is that?!

Final thoughts

Creating a social media app could prove to be a worthy endeavor considering it can be done in less steps than you have fingers.

Some of the best ones end up being a communication app with global reach.

It can however work domestically too though, it just depends on the demand for what you’re planning on launching.

If you’re someone like me that has good ideas but lack in some technical aspects it might prove useful to connect with programmers through existing apps and go from there.
