I’ll be going over why Ed Edd n Eddy was so popular.

This was one of Cartoon Network’s best running animated shoe on their network.

It first started running in the late 90s and went into the 2000s pretty starting until its tv movie put a note on the show.

This was a guiltless pleasure of mine to enjoy this show when it came on.

But we’ll examine the show’s popularity if you continue.

Why was Ed Edd n Eddy so popular?

Ed edd n eddy was an animated comedy that pushed boundaries with its humor while still having a feel-good element to it.

It keeps its originality with having a unique take on childhood experiences.

Also having the jokes go over heads often and give the show real rewatch value as you grow with the show.

What humor does Ed Edd n Eddy use?

Ed Edd n Eddy has a slapstick humor that makes it funny for anybody.

You can check out a few of the clips I saved in the animation tab for reference.

It has excellent use of sound effects to add even more drama to the moment going on.

An example is the exaggeration of the injury Ed got when he dropped a sidewalk on his foot.

Everybody has different points of enjoyment which made its impact powerful.

Danny Antonucci crafted a fine piece of art with Ed Edd n Eddy.

Another show that competed with impact of Ed Edd n Eddy without nearly as much longevity or a tv movie but still important is Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Final thoughts

Ed Edd n Eddy will always be one of my favorite cartoons of all time.

Sorry Tom and Jerry but this defined some of my happiest moments inside the house.

• Slapstick humor
• It’s deserved respect (despite being seen) as underrated

Overall I’m happy that I got to experience this show and would recommend it to anybody that likes cartoons.
