It’s because they operate better outside of traditional evaluation structures. There’s plenty of systems in place that go against self expression. That and decent problem solving skills make for a dying creative. Possibly.

Operating outside of traditional schooling

Creative people see things differently.

They would prefer to understand why things work the way they do rather than being told what to do.

Unfortunately it can lead to suffering in a busy competitive world that encourages compliance.

I personally disagree with that ideology because it can kill promotion of innovation especially when it comes to groundbreaking work.

How does education hinder creativity?

Education can block creativity and I’ll tell you why.

There’s less opportunity for self expression.

That and problem solving.

I was someone who always saw themself as a creative and found myself in trouble during school because I would go against the norm.

It’s ironic because our motto was called “a break from tradition” but whatever.

We did a good job with problem solving since we did project based learning.

But other schools probably didn’t get that luxury.

Problem solving skills keep you relevant no matter what.

It should be pushed more in traditional education.

What hinders creativity in the early years?

Being unforgiving

Insecurity

Jealousy

Lies

Disbelief

Bitterness

Criticism

Rebellion

All of these can make a difference if you make creativity a lifestyle.

These are all common downfalls for most people but in this age of content creation mastery over these hurdles can help me predict who’s gonna stay around for the long haul.

It’s an everyday struggle because we meet new people, learn new things and get new partners which can be a clash of these social sins I like to call them.

At what age does creativity decline?

There’s different studies that share different answers when it comes to the age creativity declines.

One thing’s for sure though, it happens as we age.

Ohio State says it happens after 50.

I tend to lean more on the side of it happening when we stop doing creative things.

Puzzles, games, activities and things alike are great starts to keeping your creative edge.

The point is to get your brain thinking.

Is creativity born or taught?

Creatives aren’t born, they’re taught.

There’s not a gene or anything biological that makes us different in that aspect.

We can however do our research on the greats in our industries and follow some of their practices in hopes of shaping our own.

I find most creative moments happen unexpectedly and it ends up being better than what I imagined at first.

We are at our most creative in our early years but the trick is doing what you can to keep that creativity as you age.

That’s the game.

Is creativity linked to intelligence?

I think every creative person has intelligence to some degree.

They both are met at some point in your creative process.

The creative individual finds others that’s intelligent and works harmoniously with them.

That’s my method and I’m sticking to it.

How are you creative?

I’m creative with everything I do that could be monetized really.

I’d like a fancy drawn out answer to explain creativity but it’s something I believe I was trained to be early on.

Whenever there were problems I solved them and the people I was around did the same.

Creativity shows in the music I make, videos I create, even the blog posts I make.

It comes with being interested in the audience I built.

I make sure that I share interesting media that I intend on at the very least educate everybody who reads.

If a picture looks cooler imma add it.

There’s countless edits I’ve made to pictures out of pure fandom to pay homage.

When you care about quality creativity tends to follow.
