I’ll be talking about my favorite concept for Kingdom Hearts game called Re:Chain of Memories.
Why is Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories a good game?
It’s a visually tasteful remake of the original GBA version. Without a doubt it’s worth playing. The card system could take some getting used to but it’s fun. Overall though it contributes to the storyline and fills some plot holes in Kingdom Hearts 2.
The difference between Chain of Memories and ‘Re:Chain of Memories’
You might’ve noticed the addition of roulettes and features alike.
That’s one of a few improvements made to the game.
There’s also scene changes made that’s considered to make the experience better.
Some people might have a noticeably different time playing one game over the other.
Then again there’s also an audience that prefers the original.
I still can appreciate a good improvement that’s made to an existing successful product.
That’s why I prefer Re:Chain of Memories in comparison.
Here’s a clip I found on YouTube that’s got a neat gameplay comparison.
Maybe you can share your preference below.
Just a thought.
Is Re:Chain Of Memories worth playing
It’s generally agreed that Chain of Memories is the best bridge between Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2.
It explains the stories of Organization XIII in greater detail.
The story and boss battles are a major selling point of the game.
If you’re looking forward to playing as Riku then keep in mind that’s a playable option.
The Card System
Cards make up the core gameplay for the game’s mechanics.
These cards are the main method of travel through Castle Oblivion.
They cover the main and world map.
I’m most familiar with them being used for attacks in the battles.
The keyblade cards had a sequence with numbers that went as high as 9 and low as 0.
Re:Chain of Memories Review – Real Talk Co.
The events of this game takes place immediately after the first.
It’s a fan favorite.
I was grateful to play this on my GameBoy.
It made playing Kingdom Hearts 2 having reasonable expectations.
Sora was due for a better explanation for his story and how the Heartless affect him.
It’s a must play for anyone that calls themself a Kingdom Hearts fan.
Final thoughts
Let’s sum up my main points about ‘Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded’ again.
Overall it’s a great game that’s an improvement from the GBA version.
It connects dots between the first game and the second.
My favorite concept is the card system.
Although it can be confusing at first it’s still a nice touch.
This game’s my first recommendation so far for Kingdom Hearts gaming.
I do however have merchandise that I’m sure any casual fan of the franchise would appreciate.
