Social media can be looked at as a waste of time for numerous reasons. For starters it can be highly addictive, plus distracting. There’s plenty of critics that would argue about socials being simply a fake world that’s completely digital and only has users that wear masks. The main problem that arises is that it’s stuffed with a bunch of content where people barely even care who makes it.
