I’ll be answering if I think Sonic copies Dragon Ball Z.

Sonic is one of the poster boys for Sega and Nintendo while Dragon Ball Z is on most anime fans’ Mount Rushmore of greats.

We’re gonna look at if Sonic The Hedgehog gets most of its ideas from one of anime’s best shows ever.

Why Did Sonic Copy Dragon Ball Z?

Yeah. They’re 2 franchises that make an absurd amount of money and only continues to grow. I was first introduced to Sonic. So likewise I thought this entire time that Sonic The Hedgehog came first. It shouldn’t mean you have to pick a side when it comes to enjoying both. They’re both iconic and impactful for all the generations they influenced.

2 of My Favorite Storylines

They both have stories that showcase the life of exceptional leaders.

It’s not necessarily the fact that they have amazing starts to the beginning of their storylines.

When they reach milestones and we see how far they’ve come to get there there’s a special enjoyment that comes with it.

Final thoughts

This situation might have the two mixed up solely because of timing.

Sonic came first so there shouldn’t be any reason to say it copies dragon ball z.

I come across channels like this on YouTube and find it funny because it flips everything narrative wise.

They have strong similarities in many ways but I’d like to hear your opinion on the topic.
