I’ll be answering why Yusuke’s uniform is green.
I’ll be honest, this is a very fanned out question that I’m sure only hardcore fans would care to know but I got time today.
It’s pretty iconic and it’s something he wears often until the dark tournament arc (if I remember correctly).
Why Yusuke’s uniform’s green
This was part of the original color scheme before the anime was created. The author wasn’t crazy over the idea of having Yusuke and Kuwabara wearing different colors but be from the same school. It did however play out that way and got the result we see today.
