If you could bring back one dinosaur, which one would it be?
I’m going with a T-Rex.
That animal was the choice because of the Yu-Gi-Oh card game.
The T-Rex has been around since the Paleolithic times.
They were scattered all across the globe when alive.
The belief about what happened to their extinction is that a meteor or an ice age is the thing that wiped them out from existence.
It’s believed by the paleontologists that that’s why they’re gone and I got the thought from any other TV show that includes the mentioning of these animals.
Religious experts will tell you otherwise about the existence of dinosaurs in general though.
Most think they never were really a thing (which is insane, if that was the case explain all the bones that get).
Evidently these dinosaurs lived near rivers and streams.
They’ll tend to mention these types hings when they talk to people who have more faith in science over religion.
Depending on the type they had a process where they had to adapt to whatever the location was in order to do things like eat.
The Apatosaurus is the first dinosaur that comes to mind when thinking about the animal that had to make this adjustment, and excuse me because I’m at the White Sox game so I’m trying to get this thing finished.

But the point of their long necks were to reach trees that they would eat the plants off of.
The apatosaurus lived over 161 million years ago.

Their location was believed to be in what we consider North America.
It’s unknown as to what caused their extinction.
Here’s a fun fact about them:
- The apatosaurus was first known as the brontosaurus
I actually live next to a dinosaur museum so I’ve been able to see many different dinosaurs.
That’s actually what makes picking one exact dinosaur so hard.
If you took a science course at even the elementary level that’s probably the time you started becoming aware of the creatures.
If you’re looking for a few good (of course is objective) dinosaur movies here’s a small list that you could check out when you get the time:
- Land Before Time
- Dinosaurs
- We Are Dinosaurs
- (And of course) Jurassic Park
These are more classics but if you’re looking for the most serious of them with science to back it up then it’s the last of the list.
I say that because it’s a Steven Spielberg film and usually anything he touches ends up being a masterpiece.
I like the different species that make up the entire family of dinosaurs.
They’re so unique because the variations of what’s considered dinosaurs are roughly the most diverse out of any other animal in the kingdom.
Funny enough the first time I was even introduced to the concepts of large prehistoric animals were dragons and eventually it led to me discovering dinosaurs.
If you’re looking for dominance, and which is the most, again it should bring us to the T-Rex.
They grow up to 41ft tall and almost 10 short tons in mass.
