Today I’ll be answering “What is the scariest thing that happened to me on Halloween?”

You might think it has something to do with a monster or ghoul.

But it’s actually directed to a gang that we see on a daily basis.

It just happened to be on Halloween.

What is the scariest thing that happened to you on Halloween?

Dealing with police at a party. I already fear dealing with police being a black man in America, but that fear is more common than you think. You’re dealing with authority figures that have an outrageous amount of power. But the scariest are the ones who abuse their power for fun.

More common than you think

There’s more people that fear police than what’s typically talked about.

The fear of police is actually called Capiophobia, and it’s fear of being arrested by the police without any reason.

Black people seem to have a more likely reason to fear the police than any other demographic in America.

According to an article written by YouGovAmerica “African-Americans are more likely to be very worried that they or someone in their families will be a victim of police using deadly force than they are to be very worried about becoming a victim of violent crime,” it’s shocking but I’m not surprised.
