Battling Self Doubt (3 Tactics To Employ For Conquering it)

Today, I wanna talk about battling self-doubt. We’re gonna do is figure out the ways to overcome the challenge here.

And there will be 3 things that I recommend you do in order to get past this hump.

Battling Self Doubt

Battling self doubt takes being able to do 3 things. That will be: cultivating self-compassion, challenging your negative thoughts and taking action despite your fear.

If you’re able to incorporate those 3 things into your campaign for beating this challenge, you will ultimately become more successful as a result.

Cultivating Self-Compassion

Cultivating self-compassion is the 1st step to battling self-doubt: Because of what it does For you internally.

Self-compassion is being able to forgive yourself In lieu of any potential misstep or thing that you did you wrong that would normally bother you.

You’re going to have to be able to forgive yourself at some and move forward.

Compassion in itself is being someone that shows mercy.

And Fairness ties in with it where you are able to Do things with emotion.

But not in an emotional way.

One of the best ways to cultivate the self-compassion trait is monitoring the way that you talk to yourself.

The things that you’re saying makes a huge difference.

There’s people that will call themselves really demeaning things and stuff that does not support a healthy mindset and it’s because of that, that they don’t appear confident.

It’s the things that they say to themselves.

Not only that, but practicing the golden rule ties in with that same self-talk.

How you talk to yourself is likely how you’re going to also talk to someone else or talk about them. (If you’re not even tough enough to say what it is that’s negative about yourself, to others)

If you get to where you are talking better to yourself, it’s going to show when you speak with others as well too.

And also is to balance your accountability with that.

So accountability with compassion is having a level of responsibility to keep things high, to ground things where they may need to be.

It’s making adjustments to yourself internally, and it’s something that’s a rare trait because not many people are able to do things that benefit them in real time.

But the being accountable aspect is where that’s your personal conviction.

There’s not anybody else that’s telling you what to do or how to treat yourself.

You’re going to learn the best way to deal with the things that, Ultimately you are responsible for.

Challenging your negative thoughts

Challenging your negative thoughts is another step that has to be taken with battling self-doubt.

Negative thoughts are Only gonna hold you back in the grand scheme of things.

These are gonna be all the possible scenarios where something goes wrong and not in your favor.

And when dealing with them, You have to just check them.

First acknowledge what they are because they’re very real.

My response to negative thoughts is to usually not perform any actions while in that state.

Anything at that point is going to be counterproductive to whatever it is That I’m trying to accomplish anyways.

Sometimes it even takes a little exercising of the imaginatin to steer away from Such thoughts.

I’ll make think of a way where whatever I’m currently thinking of could be worse, and after that, I’ll try my best to shortly begin thinking of ways things could be better.

And once I start to believe in those positive possibilities, I might actually backtrack and actually try to take that action.

Taking action despite your fear

Taking action despite your fears, is the last step of battling self-doubt.

This is bravery at its core.

One thing that you should be told at some point is: it’s okay to be scared, But it’s not okay to have it paralyze you to the point where you don’t do anything about it.

Taking action, despite your fears, could be as minuscule or great of a step as what you make it to be.

But it has to be something that you can acknowledge is moving forward.

I personally do it in chunks.

So what I’ll do is break down whatever my project or task is into things that would mimic whatever it is that I would be doing anyway.

So if I’m in a situation that I consider myself being fearful of, I immediately try to parallel whatever the situation I’m currently experiencing with what I would rather be doing anyways.

And if I’m able to break things down to where what the other action is I would be doing instead of this first one that would be in front of me, I will make a move that is just as significant as whatever it is that has to be done anyway.

Because another thing that you’re gonna understand is that there are always options to The things that we are challenged to do.

And what seems like the only way most of the time is not the case.

But if you find a way to take action and move forward, you will be learning (yourself) and the other people that would be with you or dependent on you will learn what type of response is that they can take as well.
