Saw.
What I Thought About It

I absolutely like Saw a lot.
This isn’t the most popular opinion with my mom, but I’m gonna go ahead and still share my positive review of this film.
The thing that I continually tell everybody that this movie could be compared to is law and order, but on steroids.
If you really break it down, it starts off just with a really bizarre beginning where you end up looking at how 2 people got in a certain situation and it ties into a who’s doing it instead of a who done it moment.
If anything, I paralleled it with what I would imagine going to an escape room would be where you have to put clues together and do what you can to figure out a way out of the place.
I think it had pretty okay pacing.
For the most part, the movie is something I feel I get a different thing out of it with each watch.
And that’s also to tell you that I’ve seen this several dozens of times.
There’s plenty I Could appreciate most this thriller-horror. I’d say it’s A solid Nine out of 10.
Obviously, it’s a super high positive review.
I can’t express enough about how much I like, saw. in the franchise around it.

How Does It Compare To Other Films In Its Genre
There’s really only one film franchise that falls under horror that I feel is popularly comparable—Scream
Scream has had a run like none other.
You got 7 films and a TV Show from them and they’re all positively reviewed for the most part.
The same can’t exactly be said with this franchise, but I feel they’re just as competitive when you compare the two.
This isn’t a focus on Scream either.
I’m just sharing how much I personally like this film franchise when you compare the die-hard fans of that franchise.
The only thing that Saw doesn’t have in comparison to the best is that TV show, but I don’t think it needs one, however I definitely would watch if one were to be made.
Did I make my stance on this movie clear yet?
Why I Chose This Movie
I chose this movie because I’ve seen it before.
I might’ve mentioned it earlier in this post, but I’m no stranger to this film, and it’s funny because there was a time I couldn’t even stand the sight of images that this movie shows throughout its entirety.
