- It proves you can do this too
- The reach of these individuals is much more influential than what a generic company would have
- They prove they’re able to lead an entire group fearlessly
- They’re likely to be more in tune with emerging resources that resonate with consumers best
Proving to the average person that they can do this too

Being able to prove to the average person that they’re able to do something that you’re able to, as well, is a common challenge with most independent entrepreneurs and business owners.
This is because most people don’t recognize where you’re at until you’re in the position what they consider to be have already made it.
And with that, they see you as a person that is beyond what they can ever be.
And most of the time, when they are seeking advice and counsel from other people, especially on the internet, they’re not in a position themselves where they have an abundance of confidence in themselves.
Besides that, though, your goal as the independent entrepreneur is to just be as transparent as possible with letting them know and demonstrating that what you’re doing is something that they’re able to do with just a little bit of dedication.
And with that, it’s important to not try to prove yourself too much.
You don’t want to get to where you are constantly seeking validation from the audience that you’re trying to influence.
They’re already interested in you. And they can already acknowledge that you have something to yourself that they are interested in.
But when you get to where you are doing way too much in order to win their approval, that’s when you actually lose them.
And this shows through possibly being too flashy, trying to show off all the things that you’ve gotten along the way.
Especially with people that are in no position to get what it is that you are showing off and anything else that just seems out of touch or unattainable to that person.
For you to understand what that is, it’s going to take you to have some sense of awareness when it comes to the audience that you are working to influence.
You don’t have to be the villain in this by being someone that is completely different from the rest of your audience.
You will be villainized and where you’re going to be made as a person that is the problem when you yourself are sure that you are a “good person.”
