- Control
- Certainty
- Connection
- Clout
- Consistency
Control
So control is another factor for motivation because what it communicates with the individual that is motivated is that their fate is in their own hands and that’s something that can be debated by a majority of the world doesn’t have that luxury. There’s so many people that constantly feel like what they’re doing is a restriction and that they are stuck to whatever it is that they have, whether it’s their environment, their situation or whatever circumstance it is. And for many, that ends up being a motivation killer, too, because they feel there’s no point in whatever is they’re gonna do since an outcome is likely to be one way that they see it at the time.
Certainty
Certainly is another C for motivation because being sure for whatever it is that you want is always a good feeling It’s a natural human desire to want confirmation where you constantly look for validation with the things that we choose to do or whatever it is that we want and be sure that we’re gonna get it. You can apply it to a traditional household in America’s where birthday presents you are expecting to get something and it ends up being a reasonable thing or even Christmas where that people will do whatever they can to make sure that whatever is that they want is actually under the tree. but to be certain is something that actually that happens with preparation. The same as doing well in an event you are going to be sure that you are going to do well at whatever it is because you put in that work or extra time in order to get the desired result.
Connection
Connection is one of the seas to motivation because of the value that’s brought about from being connected in essence, it’s a resource in many ways. When you are connected with whatever it is that takes you to your motivations, that becomes your roadmap and guide for whatever is needed in order to actually reach the place that’s trying to go to, that could be finding out a plan that is customized for you and in most cases, it comes from the people that you have access to, your network to put it in other words.
Clout
Clout is an important addition to motivation when you’re speaking on it. When you’re driven by motivation, clout is usually a byproduct of whatever the reward is. If you break things down to a generation that values a specific C the most, this is likely most attractive to Gen-Z—the social media team.
Since most of them are considered the young adults of grade schooling, this applies as a unique opportunity to help them discover a career that they could possibly move forward with. At least a supporting skill in choosing marketing.
There’s many that are motivated out of their the desire of sex as an expression or legacy. Legacy could easily be compared to wanting clout.
Consistency
Consistency applied to motivation is a little conflicting of a concept. For me that’s true because I don’t believe that motivation alone can support being consistent. It feels super similar to willpower, and at best it’s only a fickle feeling. It takes being consistent however to see your motivations through. And that’s true because if you break it down, when you’re motivated to do something, you’re likely not at the point you’re trying to be at. That’s why you’re motivated. It’s choosing to get somewhere or take action on something you don’t have yet.
