I wanna start a segment I’d like to call song of the moment.

How I see it working is where I’m sharing an honest critique on what I think of a song I discover.

I’ve been vocal in here plenty of times in where I’ve admitted that music is a large part of my life, so it only feels right that I dedicate an honest amount of time towards discussing it. But I’ll get right into the song that I’m deciding to talk about. Here we go:

Chasin a dream

This is a song that I got sent directly to my phone and got the chance to listen to it on my new audio system.

I have to say I’m highly impressed, respectfully.

I’ve heard songs before from this artist but to start off this 2026 year and hearing the first new song of this year for me feels monumental.

I liked the fact that the content or lyrics match the artwork that’s displayed on the video.

I’m someone that can probably count on one hand how many times I made a hook. And they weren’t impressive if I could find it.

But I like the honesty on this song here. That’s saying a lot too because I don’t really out much thought into hooks. I’m a lyricist at heart.

I recommend you give this song a listen too because it aligns pretty well with what I like to hear sonically.

It has a melody that feels super vibe-friendly.

You get the best of 2 worlds here: something that vibrationally feels good to experience and encouraging words that make you feel optimistic about the future

That might not necessarily be the case for you, but it absolutely feels that way with me.

There’s probably more that I’m forgetting to add, but I’ll let this be the initial message about the song.
