Are Broly and Goku enemies?
No, but they was in the non-canon version of Dragon Ball. Ever since Broly got introduced in Super, he never was Goku’s true enemy. If anything it was Vegeta through inherited beef that his father had with King Vegeta.
Broly hated Goku because he cried
In the DBZ movie Broly The Legendary Super Saiyan, he did have it out for Kakarot as he knew him.
This spawns back to a memory he had being in a birthing area that all newborn Saiyans were placed in.
I’m happy they changed this crucial point in the story because it feels like a lame source of motivation.
The writers got it right changing everything and putting the focus more on Broly being led under the guidance of his father Paragus.
