I’ll be discussing why men are ambitious.

Why are men ambitious?

We men are ambitious because it shows a potential of being consistent. There’s a goal usually we’re determined to see completed, and most of the time there’s change in our life we want to see happen. It likely leads to accountability. Only the toughest of the tough have it.

The importance of Ambition as a man

Consistency usually follows the ambitious individual.

You’re usually in constant pursuit of something that requires daily check-ins.

There’s a roadmap that takes constant effort towards its completion to make it happen.

It’s not just a fickle feeling that goes away after a few seconds or something short like that.

You have to sustain it for results. Think of the last project you had to complete.

It didn’t just have one step and it was over after that.

Goals are what make life worth living. 

It takes ambition to see the long term ones through to the end. There’s a 3 course approach to it.

A beginning. The journey. And then the final stretch.

Ambition can be found at any point but its strongest at the last 2.

There’s change in all of our lives that we would like to see happen.

The ambitious usually make it happen.

There’s a saying that goes nothing changes until change happens. It’s more than just words.

When you have ambition you’re likely to make any adjustments for the plan.

The accountability aspect that comes with having ambition is best described as coaching.

You’re doing whatever you would do if you had a coach monitoring your efforts all the way through.

You won’t allow any shortcuts to happen.

You’re able and willing to do the job with the upmost integrity. It could be internal or external.

Being tough is something we as men naturally like to be, at least that’s how it seems.

We wanna show we’re the most capable for whatever job it is we’re set out to do. 

That’s again where ambition separates the boys from men.

The average will do just enough or even fall short.

When you’re considered tough with ambition, you will intimidate the other men.

That’s because it reveals that you got a little more in your reserves that’s needed.

Final thoughts

So men are ambitious because of these reasons:

• it shows potential for being consistent
• There’s a goal looking to be accomplished
• there’s change in our life we want to see happen
• It likely leads to accountability
• It shows how “tough” we really are

It’s shown in the real go-getters in life.
