I’ll be explaining why we as a society say Marketers have to deal with reality.

Why do we say that Marketers have to deal with reality?

It’s believed that Marketers have to deal with reality because it’s understanding how the audience perceives them.

At the same time it also includes clarifying values that align with the intended image.

They have to balance the 2 goals or risk facing the negative consequences it brings.

Audience perception

One of the most common struggles that marketers have to control is how they’re perceived.

As competitors arrive it becomes a fight for who’s right.

Reputations and images get tarnished.

It could be the difference between thriving or even surviving in the market.

The best course of action is to focus on a core audience and relationship build with them constantly.

Take less emphasis on expanding and shift it to more nurturing.

Brand reality

Delusion is the case when it comes to accurate makeups that built the brand.

There’s what you think your company is synonymous with and what it actually is could be another.

This could be a problem because if you’re not putting work out that can easily identify with your brand it’s work that’s in vein.

There’s a temperature check that most people in marketing fail with being effective in.

It needs to be done because everything becomes appropriate moving forward.

Do more than the obvious on gathering feedback to get clarity and try re-establishing affirmative statements.

How to deal with negative emotions

  • Build positive emotions
  • Practice gratitude
  • Acceptance
  • Building self awareness
  • Identify causes
  • Reframe thoughts

These are things I’d like to see more people exercise when it comes to stress – especially on social media

One of the best ways I think it could be learned to handle negative emotions is improv.

Watch more improv shows and see how reframing is constantly done.

There’s so many shifts in energy.
