I’ll be sharing my thoughts on if I believe traditions hold humans back.
Do traditions hold humans back?
Yeah to some extent.
It holds open the door to criticism often.
Humanity can’t progress if it’s stuck in a traditional view of operations.
The resistance to this ideology usually comes from an older generation.
Tradition can be good for having a foundation but to advance calls for an innovative perspective.
Final thoughts
Coming from someone who started high school with a motto that read ‘A break from tradition’.
You can imagine this topic hits home a little harder than the average.
Most of what we did wasn’t done before.
And because of that we were looked at as always being ahead of our time.
Tradition is fine for legacy’s sake but when the time calls for change that’s when we have to.
