I’ll be explaining why an entrepreneur needs to be focused.
Why does an entrepreneur need to be focused?
Focus for an entrepreneur allows them to be a better decision maker.
They can prioritize effectively and share resources efficiently.
They ultimately reach their business goals through concentration and attention.
The critical parts of their business gets addressed instead of being spread too thin.
What is the first step in the decision making process
The first step in the decision making process is first identifying the problem that needs to be addressed.
You won’t be able to start if you don’t know where you’re at.
It doesn’t always have to be an issue though.
You could even be trying to capitalize on an opportunity.
After you discover an area of interest gathering information becomes the next step.
Research is gonna make you far more effective than if you were without it.
This is where you find selling points and things of interest to draw prospects closer to your brand.
Stats and testimonials are what’s gonna shine at this point.
If you’re not totally convinced this is the absolute thing then throw in some other options that could be exercised.
I parallel it the same way I would have options when it came to putting music on my mp3 player.
I’d have Limewire and the backup would be PirateBay or another torrent.
This actually brings me to the next point of gathering experience and build up enough of them so you can build a strong preference.
After that you take action and either commit or move on.
Reflect and work closer to the overall goal.
What is the key to effective task prioritization?
What best defines concentration?
Concentration is being able to focus your attention on a single task or thought.
You apply it when you need to get something done.
It’s effective through its ability to block out distractions and maintain focus.
We’re not talking about just a few seconds either.
It’s gonna be for an extended period of time.
I’ve mentioned this several times and I’ll do it again.
I grew up on Project Based Learning and part of that had to include concentrating on a task for an extended period of time.
That’s what made each work session something we got the most production from.
