Is there anything that needs to be done to have a short story published anonymously for contests?

It’s actually really simple to do.

All you have to do is remove any identifying information like your name from the document itself.

Add in a pseudo name that the reader can remember and include the title page.

Then finally submit it according to whatever the contest guidelines are.

Why is it so difficult to follow simple instructions

For many it’s difficult following simple instructions because of poor attention.

It’s even a common issue with processing information.

There’s also another problem with having a lack of clarity in the steps themselves.

Maybe they’re constantly getting distracted.

Or even cognitive issues like ADHD and related mental health problems.

My favorite area of emphasis I like to remind most that it is executive functioning issues.

Instructions get tough to follow if you don’t even put in the effort to actually do them.
