It’s not tough to recognize that most clothing brands care more about the occasion rather than practicality.
You can easily find styles that look closer to puzzle piece than an actual wearable item.
That’s not a shot at clothing distributors either.
If anything it’s supply and demand.
That helps make the most sense of this but what happened to clothes being for the benefit of the person wearing it and not people looking?
