I’ll be explaining why we laugh.
Why do we laugh?
Laughter happens for many different reasons.
Some people do it when they’re nervous.
Others do it to be polite.
And the obvious being that they’re genuinely entertained by what they’re experiencing.
It’s a win-win scenario for all parties if done well.
A common saying goes laughter’s the best medicine and I’m starting to believe it.

Laughing out of nervousness
It took me a while to realize this is really a thing.
Laughter from being nervous is a withdrawal method.
That becomes the response when some people don’t know how to handle an intense situation.
It personally can get annoying to experience but I’m also accepting it for what it is.
There’s much more unhealthy responses that could be made but also being a Truth Purist means I crave genuine displays of response.
Hopefully that doesn’t put me in a corner to where I’m not allowed to do it myself at times.
We’ll see though.
Laughing to be polite
Laughing for entertainment
Laughter is the best medicine
