I’ll be helping define what’s a good dressing sense.
Dressing Sense

A dressing sense is being able to choose clothes that are both attractive and suit your body.
There’s a few points I discovered that are generally safe rules of thumb to follow when it comes to dressing.
First is working with colors.
This could easily be followed by simply making a choice in whether you dress neutral or bold.
Neutral can be your black and whites.
Maybe tan or anything that doesn’t have a commanding presence.
Any other colors would be considered to make a statement.
Next is experimenting with proportions.
There might be an occasion that calls for a baggier look.
Another could be something that’s more fitting and needs a professional tone too.
Even the fabrics play a role in how you dress too.
An example is silk.
Silk to me just always communicates fancy.
So if you’re trying to stand out you might consider grabbing something with a more refined feel.
The point is when it comes to dressing is that it communicates to everybody your personality.
Each dress is an attempt at leaving a good impression on your audience every time.
What is good dressing sense?

It’s the right combination of clothes that help send a message you can stand ten toes on.
Your clothing captures several things in one sitting:
- a specific time period
- Imaginative inspiration
- Allegiance
- Creativity
- Financial status
There’s more I’m sure being missed but they’re still effective points nonetheless.
Those are all also subjective opinions.
But one thing that’s for sure is good dressing depends on the person wearing the clothes.
You really are the catalyst for the brands you’re choosing to wear.
If there’s someone that has an impressive level of confidence with wearing something it does something.
It typically matches the public opinion of what they’re dressed in.
There has to be a level of consistency when it comes to that though if you ask me.
It’s one thing to be happy one day out the week with what you got on.
But what about a week’s worth of clothes?
How about a month or a few?
The reputation of being someone that dresses well sticks a little better when consistency enters the chat.
Properly fitting clothes
There’s a certain pleasing aesthetic that comes with having clothes that fit well.
The icebreaker is that they’re easier on the eyes.
Nobody that has balance in their life wants to see somebody with clothing that’s overly tight.
Same goes for outrageously baggy appearances.
Think of the same when it comes to formal fits.
Both of the 2 is too harsh of a request when it comes to considering the dress being done well.
There’s some exceptions when it comes to casual wear though.
It’s fair game if you have that personal agreement in acknowledging there’s nobody to impress.
That’s when your energy is gonna match the audience you plan to be around.
A general rule of thumb with fitting clothes that I just came up with is this.

Clothing that fits the occasion

This is where creativity can really shine through.
Dressing for the occasion to me immediately links with following a theme.
Sometimes it’s a color.
Maybe it’s a time period.
Or sometimes it could be a concept acknowledgement.
There’s plenty of different areas to address when it comes to satisfying the occasion’s requirements.
This might be when somebody that’s more attached to accessories might be the leader.
There not a right or wrong way to go about doing it either.
It’s personal branding combined with hitting the mark with a societal trend.
A few of the obvious areas that get attention could be:
- Belts
- Shoes/Sneakers
- Cuff links
- Watches
The list goes on but we’re really conditioned to do this well ever since our youthful years.
I’m specifically meaning when we got toys and things that would enhance our enjoyment of the original piece we copped.
Color Coordination
Following the rules is a basic aspect of most games.
Apply it to the game being known as a good dresser.
There’s usually an objective and if we throw in a color achievement then it provides clarity on how to do well.
Doesn’t matter what it is but a level of intelligence is communicated if you find ways to incorporate it well.
Get familiar with the meaning behind certain colors and it makes a difference with your approach.

Dressing Sense
Do you know how to choose clothes that’s stylish?
Can you meet the requirements for a specific look when the occasion calls for it?
Does it compliment your body type?
These are questions you need to ask yourself if you care about fashion.
There’s several factors that go into a look.
It can go from the presentation of your hair and travel all the way down to your skin.
I try dressing as conservative as possible because of the options it provides me with.
Especially when adding in accessories.
Most of the females I associate with prefer wearing tights.
It falls in line with the conservative look that I mentioned.
So guys should look to wear a collared shirt for that tasteful mix between business and casual.
It sets the tone.
And keep in mind that those are just suggestions.
It really comes down to if you’re confident in the clothes you’re wearing.
If you like what you got on IT SHOWS.
Own the look and the rest of the room is yours.
