I’ll be sharing a Complete Guide to becoming the Ultimate Critical Thinker.
I’ve been trying to come up with what I believe is a definitive niche for this site that I’m going on year 4 of developing.
I think I finally got it.
This is a reflection of critical thinking at its finest.
I’ve had to have that edge to me when it comes to constantly push out content that I deemed worthy enough to be shared.
I’ve had some creative methods that helped me gain some notoriety and distinction from other bloggers.

But let’s take it to another level.
The point where I’m asking myself how I can effectively help my fellow man with the messages I compose.
And maybe I’m still figuring out the answer to that question.
But what I can guarantee is that it takes some level of critical thinking to keep things engaging for myself and the subscribers.
Learn Basic Knowledge
Stay in school everybody.
Learning the basics is part of the foundation to being able to think critically.
It’s important to know left from right.
Have that function as a metaphor in knowing things that’s a given and allows simple mistakes to be ruled out.

The elements and standards of Reasoning

Grasping and applying the factors that help you be considered reasonable is a hit or miss.
I personally think it can stifle imagination in a way.
But then again it can work in your favor too because if you’re persuasive enough then you can get most people to believe anything.
Getting familiar with Human Psychology and the biases that plague Imperfect Human Reasoning
It never ceases to amaze me with how sick in our ways we as a society could be.
The common Logical Fallacies
- It’s a good idea/can get away with mixing business and pleasure
- Hard work always pays off
Developing the habit of Close Reading
“Reading in between the lines”
“Truth in the Details”
What do these sayings have in common with you?
Developing the habit of becoming a Responsive Writer

Being able to take action by constantly having something to say proves to be valuable every time.
It enhances your ability to think critically but arguably most important is it communicates you’re capable of doing it.
The exercise comes in having a thoughtful response to whatever content was just consumed.
Cultivating the Intellectual Virtues
What critical thinking boils down to is having an authentic appreciation for applied knowledge.
There’s universal virtues when it comes to intellect.
But the ones that last are the few you find true because you’re a firm believer in them working.
Getting better at reading Difficult Texts and applying relevant tools
This might be what it means to be a plain old smart ass.
If you can read something that’s clearly out of your range of knowledge and make something of it of course.
Some could argue that this is how most grow through spiritual literature.
