I’ll be revealing 5 ways to become more sure and confident in general.
How do I become more sure and confident of myself?
- Be a little silly at times
- Find something to show a little rebellion about
- Stop looking for an unreasonable amount of validation
- Get comfortable with a level of unpredictability
- Try becoming an authoritative figure
Don’t be afraid to be a little silly
I’m at a point in my life where I’ve been feeling the most sure about myself than ever.
I also was elected Class Clown in high school.

Where do I find the relationship?
It’s cuz I had my moments of being funny early so I’m at the point where I’m ready to take things more seriously.
When I was known as the funny guy it took being very vulnerable and transparent.
After you do that for a little and you’re ready to move forward it takes building yourself back up.
I believe that calls for moving with more facts and a more serious tone than before.
That silly edge I believe made all the difference.
Find something to show a little rebellion about
That’s a quote I wholeheartedly believe applies to this lesson.
You can’t expect to have a free thinking mind that makes decisions without a little resistance.
Choosing to be the opposition to another side communicates that you think differently.
You’re announcing that your way of thinking is better than whatever the other side thinks.
You’re gonna continue to find innovative ways to distinguish yourself as the better choice.
You’re gonna do whatever you can to believe in the regime you created.
I can’t think of another way to be sure about something worth believing.
Stop looking for crazy amounts of validation
You can’t expect to have lasting confidence if the belief comes from a crowd of people.
You’re most sure about what you do when there’s less people around.
That can be taken as a metaphor or even literal.
There’s less clutter and hands in the pot for lack of better term.
It’s just a universal truth that I found myself to be true because it helped shape some of my strongest beliefs I’ve ever had.
This gives you the chance to ask yourself what do you think.
Why do you do what you do?
Questions like that.

Get comfortable with a level of unpredictability
There’s a philosophy I grew up on that encouraged whoever followed to get comfortable being uncomfortable.
That type of grit is a major confidence builder because it sharpens you.
Every time you conquer the unknown it only makes you stronger and sure about the next obstacle.
You might’ve never experienced the thing you’re trying to beat but you’ve approached the previous situation with what was needed to move forward.
That mindset alone will take you farther than a majority of the world.

Try becoming an authoritative figure
You’ll never be more sure about anything you’ve ever done until you become a person whose opinion on the topic is respected.
You’re known as the authority and should value that level greatly.
You have the say so in how that industry is ran.

But it’s not just something that you wake up and have.
It’s earned.
That achievement comes from proving that you’re confident and capable to lead.
How does that happen you might ask.
It’s through experience and accomplishment.
It’s one thing to be familiar with something but it’s next level to have the proven track record in showing you can conquer the situation.
