Why the Microphone Can be Found in Any Studio Based Production
It’s one of the most powerful senses to capture.
Sound.
There’s several kind of microphones that can be added in production.
Some say that’s how some of the most powerful truths are told.
Mics are cool to have but there’s a special effect that comes with having an effective camera too.

Sound capturing
Capturing sound on recording equipment is literally holding one of the five senses in a box.
It’s a camera for the ears some would say.
I slept on this aspect of media production in my early years of creating.
Like YouTube for example.
This would be the early 2000s when I’d argue creating content was at a peak for creativeness.
But as I continue to grow in this space of content creation it becomes more clear how important it is.

Audio in several different aspect capture what’s really happening.
I look at:
- music soundtracks
- Musical scores
- Podcast audio intros
- Audio skits placed in albums
The list goes on.
