There’s not a doubt that being silent actually sends a message. It happens when you don’t use words or sounds during an actual conversation. It’s most common to be seen as a way to avoid discussion. I think it’s done to dodge having an original thought. Or starves a fire from growing in some cases.
Talking without speaking
It could be a statement you’re making through material goods that do all the talking.
I sometimes will even read into a location and let the spot communicate what to expect.
