Setting the scene in creative writing projects takes being able to establish intention. From there you continue to add. It often takes making more than one draft of whatever project you’re working on. In other words ‘focus.’ That happens through being aware of how you’re feeling in the moment.
Establishing intention early on
It’s clearly defining your purpose.
Your desired outcome at the very beginning of every project.
Being specific is a must.
One focus I personally give the most attention to is poetry.
Being heavily influenced through music puts me in a position where I can emphasize aspects I like the most.
Having the ability to rhyme is most impressive to me.
