I Think My Priorities Are Straight (And I Like That For Me)

I’ll be standing on my soap box today to share a win that I think the world should know in having my priorities straight.

We’re constantly reminded as adults that we’re supposed to have our priorities straight.

That lesson even starts earlier in life and the ones that take heed seem a step ahead of the rest of their peers.

Maybe I’m throwing a little bit of shade towards myself here but let my honesty teach something if it can.

I Think My Priorities Are Straight

Maybe it’s from having some time to self reflect more often but I’m at the point where I’m sure my priorities are straight.

How can I be so sure I’m sure someone asked.

That’s because of how consistent I’ve been able to be for the past 25 days.

I’m consistently pushing out secondary content that wouldn’t have been possible without it.

There’s so much energy and discipline that goes into this accomplishment and it’s not something to be taken for granted.

It’s one thing to do what you’re told to do and being able to do it well.

But it’s another if you’re able to lead yourself.

I’m finding out that it comes automatically with having your priorities straight as a foundation.

That quote above is so true it’s not even funny.

It sums up the very essence of what prioritizing is.

There’s so many demands that’s made on the daily by people all across the world and eventually it intrudes on our plans.

There’s some who do the following:

  • ignore those requests completely
  • some who drop what they’re doing for the request
  • and those that become more to find that happy medium

Choosing that third option isn’t the easiest thing to do.

Matter of fact it’s tougher but consistent development shows you if you’re really ready for more in your life.

Final Thoughts

I probably could’ve shared more personal stories to how it directly impacts me having my priorities straight but take my word.

I wouldn’t be saying this if I didn’t feel it were the case.

At some point we have to be honest with ourselves.

I’m sharing this as good news because that’s exactly how I see it as.

The metrics here are able to confirm too.

Energy’s contagious and my personal satisfaction seems to rub off on everybody else offline.

We might not see eye to eye with everything but then again we might not have the same goals.

And that’s okay for the most part.
