The Evolution of Shared Reality in Close Relationships

I’ve mentioned before how we’re in a digital age and with that is pushing the boundaries of communication too.

That’s one of the main reasons relationships fail.

I’m not sure which number it would land but I would definitely put it top 5.

The new ways we’re sharing our realities is with the devices in our pockets.

It’s the updating of our stories on social media.

The recording of vlogs or discussions we lead in private groups…

Consequences of Shared Reality in Close Relationships

It could be as simple as getting a desired outcome or negative one.

It’s sometimes much more simple than what we make it.

If you heard the term misery loves company then it should be a little more clear.

One person might not be going through the best situation and that’s okay.

The problem’s when you decide to consistently share negativity because it doesn’t serve a positive purpose for others.

Helping Others Around You Think Bigger

Helping others think bigger automatically works in your favor if you believe in law of association:

• It motivates them to picture larger goals
• It’s challenging their current worldview
• shares inspiring stories
• provides chances for growth
• actively listen to their ideas
• offers useful feedback that pushes them past their comfort zone

This is your chance to reflect and really focus on the bigger picture when it comes to having your environment work for you.

Showing Others Where You’re Really Heading in Life

• actively sending messages about your goals – dreams – and important life choices to the people around you

Those are all great starts for helping others see what’s getting ready to come your way in life.
