I’ll be sharing 4 benefits that come along with being disciplined in your eating habits.
What Happens From Being Disciplined in Your Eating Habits
- Improved overall health
- Increased energy levels
- Better mood control
- Greater sense of well-being
Diet discipline: A case study

The point is I wrestled in 2006 and continued competing as a student athlete until 2016.
My nutrition became a factor after I decided to start cutting weight.
It was brutal because I would constantly make things hard on myself.
My routine would include eating junk food all throughout the week to only compete maybe once or twice a day.
It wasn’t ideal because the food was ideally dead weight that only sat in my system without properly nourishing me.
Again – brutal if you’re looking to succeed at a high level that demands so much from your body
If I were to share advice by an example I would gladly follow myself without much trouble is through eating like Itachi.
I can’t cite where I got the story on his eating habits but roughly it was something as close to Keto I’ve heard.
Barely any sweets and more natural food without much artificial preservatives.

Embedded Principles
The best rules of thumb to follow if you’re looking to have more discipline with how you eat is by following a fast.
If you have set times that you decide to start eating then it challenges you to perform in other ways and get the most out your food.
Don’t let that go over your head – I don’t mean to have a lot of it
I’m simply suggesting you consume quality food as much you can.
Final thoughts
When it comes to health generally speaking – the specific benefits are:
- a more stable weight
- reduced risk of chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease
This usually would apply to older crowds but the way most shape their diet sets them up for these problems much earlier.
I’ll be lying to say I have the best diet but one habit that proves to help me consistently is doing a morning fast.
That leaves our remaining benefits:
- increased energy levels
- better mood regulation
- a greater sense of well-being
