The Most Influential Person I’ve Ever Met

Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?

My younger self.

Let me add a little more context.

I’m talking about a point in time when there was less tampering with my personality.

This is before conscious heartbreak or even when I was conditioned to believe the narrative of what accountability is.

I was more responsible if anything.

I wasn’t too aware of my most youthful years until the year 2000 – so we’re talking about kindergarten

My fame and infamy came from my imagination.

It was almost as if any form of entertainment I enjoyed was also the same thing that my peers liked too.

My influence was more impactful though because my real friend group came from somewhat of an older crowd.

We had the same spiritual beliefs at the time but our secular joys set the tone for what was cool.

And maybe having older friends made me appear cooler but I didn’t think too much about it.

Growing up you can tell who were the leaders of a group.

It’s the who’s who of an entire organization.

I was the student-worker that put everybody around me on to the pop culture that was worth giving time and attention to.

We can call that the famous part

The infamy came from bumping heads with the people running our school and clubs.
