Yeah. Specifically the time I traded as an employee at my past jobs for money. It’s one of the only things growing up I was taught that we couldn’t get back no matter what we do.

Money earned from time spent as an employee

I want my time that was spent earning money at my old jobs.

That’s the trade that everybody makes when they decide to sign their W-4 and 2s.

Why would I want more time after following money earned through being an “employee” someone may ask.

I’m glad someone did.

That’s because we’re never paid enough.

If you ever worked with me then you’d know what and why I feel that way.

Funny thing is that I don’t even mean money necessarily.

There’s been jobs that I worked where the system was set in place to where we can’t go the extra mile for the customer.

The time feels even longer in reflection while I agreed to cap my earning potential with an hourly wage.

Time is one of the only things we will never get back

I never met someone successful that didn’t value their time.

It’s scary watching others waste it in a funny way because we only get one life and everybody else acts like we can get a refill.
