Does Sora and Kairi get together?
Yes. Their relationship as a focus was given a back burner to the entire Kingdom Hearts story. Their involvement of the papou fruit was a big part in solidifying their relationship. They were childhood friends that had a large part of their life happen and depend on their relationship to make it work.
The paopu fruit symbolizes the star fruit.
With that symbol comes a legend that if they’re shared combines the destiny of the two as well.
It’s implied that they shared one based off their drawings from their youth.
If that’s the case then I would say it sums everything up.
That’s the closest thing to getting a ring and committing to someone according to Destiny Islands.
