Here’s the 4 secrets I have that reveal what it takes to exceed goals.
What it takes to exceed goals
- Understanding the foundations of success
- “Work on your business, not in your business”
- Eliminate confusion
- Get comfortable using checklists
Understanding the foundations of success
Understanding the foundation of success changes your business completely.
It takes understanding work ethic.
There’s several points of emphasis when it comes to truly appreciating what it takes to have an admirable work ethic.
It takes these qualities in to account every time:
- Punctuality
- Effective communication
- Striving for excellence
- Courtesy
- Efficiency
- Collaborative Spirit
- Meeting deadlines
- Consistency
If there were one quality that would be of best interest then I would choose time management.
Centering your focus around your work ethic makes you come to terms with your core values and attitudes.
It changes who you are as a person when you decide to improve your work ethic.
All of these changes are made to your life when improving your work ethic:
- More accountability with reaching goals
- A professionalism that invites business
- The desire to develop new skills
- Becoming a person that’s more trustworthy
- Increasing your productivity
- Creating a positive work culture for yourself and others around you
Accountability is a success principle that even Jack Canfield agrees with in saying “if it’s meant to be, it’s up to me”
That statement is true because it captures what being accountable is.
Accountability is taking personal responsibility for the completion of your goals.
You will not be able to see many of your worthwhile goals be achieved without much accountability.
Let your business work for itself
“work on your business, not in your business”
Letting your business work for yourself is capturing the idea of working on your business and not only in it perfectly.
I have an opportunity to observe this story as a case study to support my claim.
