I’ll be discussing what makes choosing to ignore opposition a good idea.

Ignoring anybody that opposes your train of thought is intentional ignorance at its purest form.
Have you ever heard the term ignorance is Bliss?
It applies in this situation too.
Choosing to ignore someone that clearly is against what you stand for allows yourself to focus more on what you do want.
I like to use media references to support my points and one that comes to mind is an episode of Futurama.
It’s Season 4: Episode 7
It’s more of a moment but it involves ignoring somebody nonetheless.
You might wanna watch the whole thing for better context.
I’ll break it down a little bit more and explain why it was effective in this situation.
When your desire for being dependent on validation shows grossly it can be exploited to great levels.
It was obviously done strategically in this scenario.
I like this show a lot for some of these very reasons when I get the chance to reflect.
Call it a pseudo-reflective moment I took the opportunity to capitalize on.
I have another example that stems from South Park
Here we go with yet another demonstration of the ignoring tactic actually work.
Why ignoring someone is so powerful
I’m one of the worst at people when it comes to ignoring people.
Maybe that was outdated but it’s something I either had an issue with or I’ll occasionally find myself struggling with it to this very day.
I can recognize the power it holds though because it’s been used on me and I’ve witnessed it work on others pretty well.
It’s one of the most effective tactics that used against a narcissist.
There’s 2 type of people in the world generally speaking – extroverts and introverts.
Being ignored hands down would affect an extrovert much more than an introvert but I find it shows up in a much more funny way with the hybrids.
They show their emotions and adapt to the feelings in a much more open way.
It’s almost the same as watching an animal being the glass at a zoo.
Coming from a consistent E-type personality diagnosee it makes sharing this feel pretty easy.
One way that getting ignored made me feel was absolutely worthless.
You mean to tell me that I’m not even worth your time for acknowledgment.
That was the type of behavior to irk my soul to its core.
