I’ll be starting an open discussion on what it’s like to live in Long Beach.
What is it like to live in Long Beach, CA?
I took the liberty of conducting a study of several responses posted on user generated content based platforms.
First Case Study

This first user suggests that the location of job you have matters.
My first response
That’s a general concern with any place you would live.
Being able to navigate and move at a reasonable pace can be important for anybody considering to live in a specific area.
Second Case Study

The second user says they moved to Long Beach all the way from New Jersey in 2019.
They think it’s diverse and laid back but also has a large amount of rough neighborhoods too.
There’s also poor air quality and rising rents.
Ironically they also think it’s not ideal for beaches but great for exploring.
My Second Response
I don’t know what part of Jersey this person’s from but I could imagine it being a major culture shock to live Long Beach.
When you also move during the emergence of a pandemic I’m sure you’re not getting the full effect of a city’s beauty either.
I’m not too familiar on air quality but that tells me there might be a large amount of industrial plants or factories in or near the area.
The rent factor wouldn’t bother me if I were to consider moving there because if value’s present then it’s always worth the price.
