What is The Saddest Death in Dragon Ball?

Majin Vegeta.

The Majin Saga had the most deaths we’ve seen happen in all of DragonBall up to this point.

This isn’t even halfway through the saga by the way.

That’s just to give you context on the pacing throughout this part of Dragon Ball.

When Vegeta Sacrificed Himself

It’s in Final Atonement when we learn Vegeta decides to sacrifice himself to kill Buu.

It’s one of the few times we witness Vegeta take accountability for allowing a disaster to go so far.

Final thoughts

Majin Vegeta’s death was actually very reminiscent of a Chiatzou or even Goku in Cell Saga.
