I’ll be explaining why being prideful is a sin.
All my other hip-hop fanatics might’ve joined me in first thinking of a specific song off an album called The Off Season.
But that’s not the main point of this piece though.
And then again it might have more to do with it as this ages but this is completely from my own perspective.
So you can be assured it’s original.
I’m sure you’ll find it’s less about religion and more about spirituality.
But without further ado we’ll move forward.
Why is Being Prideful a Sin?
Pride is the state of existence that alienates us from God. If it consumes you it could take longer than expected to get the blessings you want. Pride ends up being a life lesson that could bring you to the best version of yourself. This seemingly negative trait turns into something better and shows when you’re transparent with the progress you make.
