What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?
$130. That’s what I spent on a meal once. Years ago. And yes it was worth it. Mostly. I love hibachi food and would eat it every day. At least sometimes that’s how I feel. The only downside about that particular meal was ordering it “to go” and not getting it fresh off the grill. It also wasn’t my exactly preferred brand but I like this style of food most of the time. I also liked that I was able to buy it for everyone I was living with at the time.
Triple figure priced meals
Have you ever spent anything over $100 for a single meal?
I did in this moment and at the time that felt expensive.
This was a few years back so I don’t have the receipt.
But I didn’t care too much because I’m talking about a mean cuisine here.
The restaurant was available through GrubHub and I couldn’t believe it at first when I was checking to see what they had.
Not only was this restaurant a couple cities away.
It was a whole state!
Call me a fiend in this circumstance but you gotta understand that hibachi was one of the first Out of the Ordinary meals I ever had.
That meant growing up we didn’t have it a lot for whatever reason.
The logical conclusion I had to draw was the prices were too expensive to do regularly.
An average dish would cost around $30.
I’ll let you be the judge for how valuable that’s considered to be.
