I’ll be explaining why being a follower’s bad.
Why is Being a Follower Bad?
Being a follower is bad because it comes with these flaws most of the time:
- A poor work ethic
- Bad morale
- Distraction from your goals
- Leaves your customers unsatisfied
- Lost opportunities
- A cost that’s never worth the price
- Decrease in product quality
- Low competition
Poor Work Ethic
Part of success is knowing the red flags when it comes to behaviors that go against it.

A few that I’ve gotten most familiar with is:
- failing to show up on time
- Getting tasks done to only take credit for the work others put in
- being two-faced
Or even failing to follow through on promises that get made.
Bad Morale

One of the best qualities I think you could adopt to develop and increase your own morale is being able to listen to well.
Distraction From Goals
You should have 10 goals at max if you’re really working towards a definite chief aim.
Effects of Unsatisfied Customers
If communication becomes too much of an issue then your customer will gladly go elsewhere.
Losing Opportunities
Losing track of your goal and why you’re doing it could be the difference in whether you make the most or lose an opportunity.
The High Costs of Being a Follower
You’ll always be spending more than l you’re supposed to trying to be a follower and that’s because you keep buying for approval.
Issues With Product Quality
The biggest issue with product quality usually comes from inconsistency.
Low Competition
Competition should be seen as a good thing.
