I’ll be discussing the idea of doing what you want to do.
Doing What You Want To Do
Don’t confuse achievement with work that’s in progress. Doing what you want takes understanding your core values. There’s constantly people that confuse their skills and emotions. You’ll have to fight that pessimism you might impose on yourself and overcome perfectionism as it comes.
Confusing achieving with doing
Achievements are things that are already accomplished while what you’re doing’s still in progress.

Figuring Out Your Core Values
- Ethics
- Integrity
- Respect
- Honesty
Those are just a few values that we’re commonly taught to hold near and dear to our hearts.

Confusing skills and emotions
Skills come with a particular mix of principles that have to be present before they’re acquired.
Those principles are:
- Learning
- Experience
- Ability
- Growth
- Training
- Competence
- Knowledge

Being Pessimistic
Positivity outshines the pessimistic individual every time.

Fighting Self-Criticism and Perfectionism
Fighting self-criticism has to be clarified with what it applies to.
You can be critical of yourself but you’ll prove yourself right with the things you say.
That’s why you have to be careful with the negative thoughts you’re feeding and entertaining.
