Importance of Customs and Traditions
A traditionalist reinforces values such as:
- freedom
- faith
- integrity
- a good education
- personal responsibility
- a strong work ethic
- the value of being selfless
- reduce stress
- increases physical health and mental well-being
Traditions grant stability and help us connect with our roots.
What would you change about modern society?
I try not to think much about changing society.
Even if there’s things I don’t necessarily agree with but let me explain why.
Change is inevitable.
Especially in societal constructs.
Technology advances and people adapt with those changes whether they’re ready or not.
Maybe if I needed to make an improvement it would be to double down on eliminating participation trophy culture.
Rewarding everyone regardless of performance level doesn’t teach much.
Personally I think it even dilutes the satisfaction of the person who performed better than everyone else.
Let’s start earning our rewards and getting properly compensated for it again.
I’ve watched modern society evolve to having life changing technology and new freedoms never seen before.
Traditional society has tradition and culture but ever since high school I broke from it.
