I’ll be explaining why it’s a good idea to wish someone happy birthday.
It only applies if it’s someone’s actual day of birth by the way.
Why Wish Someone Happy Birthday
Wishing someone Happy Birthday when it applies does the following:
- fosters connections
- spreads joy
- strengthens relationships
- reminds people of their own existence
- Give them a chance to celebrate the journey of life and milestones achieved
Building a Connection Through Saying Nice Things
Building connections through the nice things we say delivers all of these benefits:
- Praise
- admiration
- acceptance of how people are built at tender
- Allows vulnerable emotional connections
Spreading Joy Through What You Say
Strengthening Relationships With Positive Talk
Positivity shows you’re confident in what you say and there’s belief in the relationship being built.
Each Year We Get Older

Celebrating the Journey of Life
Maybe being in the heart of July feels more appropriate to celebrate.
And then again it helps that today’s my grandmother’s actual birthday.
Birthdays go past just human life though.
This month is what many consider to be America’s birthday.
I think the celebration feels mandatory when you notice progress.
Progression turns into the goal each year and I’m someone that believes a celebration has to happen if your success appears undeniable.
